Terms of use — SonidoenRed

1. Acceptance of the terms

These terms of use regulate the access and use of the SonidoenRed platform (hereinafter, "the Platform"), accessible at sonidoenred.com. By registering or using any feature of the Platform, you accept these terms, as well as the privacy policy and the legal notice.

If you do not agree with any of the points set out here, we ask that you not use the Platform.

2. Description of the service

SonidoenRed is a platform focused on professional sound. Access is free and there is no paid functionality. It includes:

Training content, blog articles and downloadable resources.
A price comparator for audio equipment, for information purposes.
User accounts with a public profile, work experience and education, following between users and an achievement system.
Publishing blog comments and product reviews.
Price-drop alerts and a newsletter, both optional.

The Platform is provided "as is", with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The owner reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw any feature at any time.

3. Registration and user account

To access certain features you must create an account. By registering you agree to:

Provide truthful, current and complete information.
Keep your password confidential and notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
Be over 14 years of age. If you are under 14, you need the consent of your legal guardian.
Not share your account with third parties or create accounts in an automated way.

Bear in mind that your profile is public: the name you choose to display, your headline, location, bio, avatar, links to social networks, experience, education, achievements and the comments and reviews you publish are visible to any visitor and may be indexed by search engines. All of it is optional and you can edit or clear it from your profile at any time.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.

4. Acceptable use

By using the Platform you agree not to:

Carry out illegal, fraudulent activities or those contrary to good faith.
Send spam, unsolicited advertising content or malware.
Attempt to access restricted areas, other users' accounts or server systems without authorisation.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract content in bulk.
Publish content that infringes third-party rights, or that is offensive, discriminatory or attacks human dignity.
Publish fake or self-serving reviews, or reviews in exchange for payment, or rate products you do not know first-hand.

5. User content and moderation

You are responsible for the comments, reviews and profile data you publish. We may remove or hide any content that breaches the previous section or the law, and suspend the account in the event of serious or repeated breaches.

Comments and reviews are published directly, without prior review, and are moderated afterwards. We remove those that do not discuss the product or the article, those containing third parties' personal data, insults or promotional links, and those that breach section 4.

If you come across content you consider unlawful or that infringes your rights, you can notify us by writing to [email protected] stating the link and the reason. We will review the notification and inform you of the decision taken. If it is we who remove content of yours, we will explain why and you will be able to respond through the same channel.

6. Intellectual property

All content published by SonidoenRed (texts, images, designs, code, logos) is protected by intellectual property law. Personal, non-commercial use of the content is permitted, as well as citation with express indication of the source. Any other use requires prior written authorisation.

Content generated by users (for example, comments or reviews) remains the property of its authors, but the user grants SonidoenRed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it within the Platform.

7. Price comparator and affiliate links

The comparator shows prices and specifications of products from third-party shops for information purposes only. The data is collected periodically and may not match the price in force: the valid price is always the one shown by the shop at checkout.

Some of the links that take you to a shop are affiliate links. If you buy through them, SonidoenRed receives a commission from the shop, at no additional cost to you and without any change to the price. The specific programmes are listed in the legal notice and the links concerned are marked on the product page. The commission does not influence which products are published or the order of the offers, which are sorted by total price including shipping.

SonidoenRed does not sell products, does not hold stock, takes no part in the transaction and is not responsible for any incidents with external sellers. Purchases are completed with the corresponding shop, whose commercial terms, warranties, returns and customer service are outside SonidoenRed's control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonidoenRed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

The above does not affect the rights that consumer and user legislation grants to the user when acting as a consumer.

9. Amendments to the terms

We may update these terms when necessary. Each version carries a date at the top of the document. We will notify you of relevant changes by email or through a visible notice on the Platform, with enough notice for you to review them.

If the changes affect your rights or obligations, we will ask you to accept them expressly the next time you log in. If you prefer not to accept them, you will still be able to browse the public part of the site, download your data and delete your account.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Valencia, unless consumer and user legislation determines another venue.
