Behringer X32 vs Behringer X32 Compact

Which one to choose

The X32 has 32 mic preamps on the desk itself and 25 motorised faders; the X32 Compact has 16 preamps and 17 faders, and in return takes up less space and weighs less (about 15 kg against almost 21). Both accept digital stageboxes over AES50, so you can add inputs to the Compact later, although with the box the total gets close to the price of the X32. Both include an expansion card with a 32x32 USB interface for multitrack recording. If you never go past 16 sources or carry the desk often, the X32 Compact; if you mic full bands with drums and want more channels at hand without switching layers, the X32.
