Which one to choose
Both have 17 motorised faders and a 19" rack-mountable format. The SQ5+ adds RackUltra FX engines, a 9-inch touchscreen with a refreshed interface and the SQ+ MixPad and SQ+4You apps for remote control and personal monitor mixes. If you don't need those effects or personal monitoring from a phone, the SQ5 is still a very capable desk; if you are buying for the years ahead, the SQ5+.
